Experience the Traditions & Customs of Jalisco!
Begin this tour with a 40-minute ride into the Sierra Madre Mountains up hills and crossing rural areas learning about Puerto Vallarta’s history and way of life. Then join a traditional Mexican fair with games, tacos and local snacks, and an open bar.
Traditional entertainers will demonstrate a Mexican rodeo otherwise known as a “Charreria,” which is very popular in the state of Jalisco and a recognized national sport.
After the Mexican rodeo, we make our way up to a beautiful traditional restaurant in the hills, Los Coapinoles Restaurant. An exquisite dinner of Mexican favourites will be waiting for you, such as chilies rellenos, tamales, fajitas, arrachera (skirt steak) cactus, and more.
The night ends with a live Mariachi band, and a traditional dancing horse demonstration “show of the flowering lasso,” lasso demonstration, dancing, and much more.
